Shepherd's Huts

Our unique Shepherd's Huts are a modern, bespoke version of the old huts the Shepherd's used to sleep in during lambing season.

The Hampshire Hut sleeps two on a static double bed and has a enough floor space to put a cot or air bed if you wish. Inside there is a foldout dining table with two chairs, a wood burning stove and cast iron kettle for those crucial cups of tea! Outside there is another table and chairs and a large, handmade fire pit with a tripod and skillet for cooking.

The Sussex Hut sleeps up to four adults with a built in double bed and handmade sofa bed that pulls out easily in to another double bed. It has the same facilities as the Hampshire Hut but for four people.

Bell Tents

Bluebell Tent (5 meter bell tent) can sleep up to 4 on a double bed and two chair beds. The Bluebell tent has the same facilities as the Huts but without the log burner. Our Daisy Tent has two single airbeds and nothing else,  to suit those guests that would like to bring their own bedding and equipment.

The Landpod

New in August 2020 was our bespoke Landpod. This is a quirky, insulated sleeping pod that is elevated off the ground. The waterproof cover can be lifted or rolled up to allow guests to really be at one with nature. The Landpod is available to book but please note that only mattresses are provided, guests must bring everything else that they need; bedding, cooking and eating equipment. Guests have private use of an outdoor table and chairs and fire pit.

Camping

You are welcome to pitch a small tent next to the hut/tent/landpod that you have booked. There is a charge of £15 per night for this. Please book this using the additional items when checking out. Camper vans may also be allowed to park next to the hut/tent/landpod you have booked but this depends on how wet the ground is. If this is something that you like to discuss, please get in touch.

Pop up campsite

New for 2023 is our small, family friendly campsite. We have 6 grass camping pitches in a separate paddock. This is a very basic campsite with a tap, two portable toilets and shower shack. All rubbish must be taken home with you.

The other stuff

In an effort to keep our prices down, please note that cooking/eating equipment is no longer provided as standard, nor are logs for the fire pit. These are now additional extras as we are trying to keep our costs down. Thank you for your understanding.

We have a Wash Hut which houses 2 bathrooms including electric showers and flushing toilets (for glamping guests only!). Even heated towel rails! These bathrooms are shared.

We are part of an anti single use plastic campaign.

Both of our Shepherd's Huts and Bluebell Tent are fully furnished (with real beds!) and bedding is provided. We aim to provide everything you need for a relaxing break  from normality and if there is something that you need, we will do our upmost to provide it.

The entire space (both Huts, Daisy, Bluebell and the Landpod) can be booked to accommodate 17 people, maybe more.

You could sit outside for hours watching nature and farming, listening to the birds singing, but if there is anything you need we are only a phone call and a couple of minutes walk away.

If you have any questions or would like to check availability, please get in touch via email or phone. We look forward to welcoming you soon!
