Things to do

Where to start... There are so many different things you can do whilst staying with us at Sindles Farm. Lazy days lounging in the sunshine with a BBQ lit, letting the kids play, exploring the beautiful local countryside on foot, two wheels or 4 legs, eating delicious cake at the local Tea rooms, visiting the local sights, having a trip to the seaside, a bespoke farm tour or travelling to the local towns for some retail therapy, it really is up to you. Have a look at the information below or get in touch if you have any questions.

WALKING

With such an amazing network of footpaths literally right on your doorstep, it would be rude not to set off  and explore the local area. We have so many local sights that you can reach on foot-Racton Folly, Stansted Garden Centre and The Pavillion Tea Rooms, Kingley Vale ANOB, local pubs, our farm... If you'd like a bit of advice on where to head to, just let us know and we'll be more than happy to chat to you about the local area.

MOUNTAIN BIKING

If it's mountain biking your after, you've come to the right place. We are surrounded by lanes and bridleways with hills and tracks for all abilities. The local Nature Reserve Kingley Vale sports a fair few hills if you like a challenge OR Queen Elizabeth Country Park have a blue and red trail. Alternatively, head down to the coast to explore the stunning coastline and Chichester harbour.

THE LOCAL AREA
FARM TOURS

If you would like to have a tour of the farm, please let us know when you book. Tours are completely bespoke and will be created to suit you. We have cattle and sheep and lots of crops and machines (big boys toys) and are only too happy to talk farming!

Our local village of Westbourne has an amazing bakery, 3 pubs, a Co-op and a Indian restaurant. The coastal town of Emsworth is 5 miles away: have a stroll around the mill pond and look at the boats or have a walk along the harbour. The beautiful city of Chichester is 15 mins drive East. There is plenty to see and do here: retail therapy, visit the Cathedral or sample delicious food in one of the many restaurants. The beautiful Wiiterings are a 25 minute drive, Portsmouth and the Historic Dockyard is 15 minutes West and Southampton is a shoppers paradise.
